If you will always be playing by yourself, you don't have to spend money on an extra controller. Be sure to buy three extra controllers if you choose any games that allow four players to play at once. They will be worth every penny with all the fun you will have with them.

This is a great time to mention the difference between nintendo controllers and third party controllers. nintendo controllers are more reliable and comfortable while third party controllers are less expensive. I buy nintendo brand controllers because I feel they are worth the extra money for the added reliability and responsiveness they provide.

Finally the wii. It is completely wireless and the size of a 90's lunch box. From the way Nintendo is trying to compete with Xbox and Playstation it is to be expected they will keep making more impressive systems with more impressive features. Look at the Ds it has the ability to play Nintendo 64 quality games in a very portable system. Great things to come!
